George Bush or Antietam, Part 2

Not Philadelphia. 

New York. 

My brother works for the World Bank, and he was in New York representing the World Bank at a function Laura Bush was holding in support of literacy, and the whole Bush family was there. 

George Bush, Condi Rice, and a bunch of other people spoke. 

Now talk about adventure. My brother was a missionary in central Africa for seven years. Had to do everything himself, including fight hippos with his bare hands. Good stuff. Hippo won though. My brother ended up getting hauled off for emergency surgery. In central Africa in the 70s, emergency surgery is where they load you on a truck and drive you 24 hours to a clinic. A doctor is there if you're lucky. 

My brother survived though. 

Anyway, I spent last night doing pics of Civil War locations in Washington DC, and attending a play at the Ford theater. Which was way cool. I'll post about that later, I've got a few posts to make since I was offline all week.
