A picture showing how the general mass of Union troops were bivouacked during the siege of Petersburg.

A cannon set up near the Prince George Court House Road.  Looks pretty, but not likely to have been a place a cannon would have been placed during the siege of Petersburg itself.  Taken from the trail to Prince George Court House, which heads off to the left behind where you are standing in this picture.

The plaque showing the old road between Petersburg and Prince George Court House.

Prince George Court House should be at the end of this trail, a few miles off.
